Sandra Louise Sandy (Schlageck) Headley, 57 of Larkspur, CO died Saturday, March 21, 2015. Sandy was born Oct. 25, 1957 in Hoxie, Kansas and grew up in the small German Catholic town of Seguin, KS, 10 miles west of Hoxie where her parents, Bert and Florence Schlageck, farmed and ranched.
She graduated from Hoxie High School in 1975. After high school she worked at Sears in appliance repair before moving into her career in the dental industry. Sandy spent many years working as an EDDA and during the last year she...

Sandra Louise Sandy (Schlageck) Headley, 57 of Larkspur, CO died Saturday, March 21, 2015. Sandy was born Oct. 25, 1957 in Hoxie, Kansas and grew up in the small German Catholic town of Seguin, KS, 10 miles west of Hoxie where her parents, Bert and Florence Schlageck, farmed and ranched.
She graduated from Hoxie High School in 1975. After high school she worked at Sears in appliance repair before moving into her career in the dental industry. Sandy spent many years working as an EDDA and during the last year she was the office manager at The Studio for Exceptional Dentistry in Colorado Springs.

She was united in marriage to Gerald Headley on Sept. 5, 1992 in Keystone, CO. They lived together with their beloved dogs and cats in the foothills north of Colorado Springs.

Sandy was actively involved in the Rocky Mountain Cocker Rescue helping with foster support and pet adoption activities.
Surviving family include her siblings John Schlageck of Manhattan, KS.; her sister, Cathy Neal of Independence, KS; Steve Schlageck, Grand Junction, CO.; Pat Schlageck, Wichita; mother-in-law, Roberta Headley of Lakewood, CO; sister-in-law Kim Headley of Lakewood, CO; brother-in-laws, Jay Headley of Larkspur, CO; and Patrick Headley of Highlands Ranch, CO. Sandy is also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends.
We are all richer for having known and loved Sandy. We miss her and know she now dwells in heaven with our Lord, the angels her parents, uncles and other family and friends. We hope to join her one day. May God bless us all.
