Obituary


Bill was born at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 6, 1942. His parents were Robert H. Fraley and Henrietta L. Fraley. He graduated from Waverly High School in 1961 and then spent eight years in the Air Force, traveling to Turkey, Germany, Greece, and Korea.
Mr. Fraley enjoyed playing horseshoes, fishing, hunting, reading books and watching his favorite football team, the New York Giants.

Bill was born at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 6, 1942. His parents were Robert H. Fraley and Henrietta L. Fraley. He graduated from Waverly High School in 1961 and then spent eight years in the Air Force, traveling to Turkey, Germany, Greece, and Korea.
Mr. Fraley enjoyed playing horseshoes, fishing, hunting, reading books and watching his favorite football team, the New York Giants.
He was a member of the Elbert Presbyterian Church and was an active deacon at the church. He was also a member of the VFW. He retired after many years as a school bus driver and head custodian at the Elbert School.
Bill died peacefully at his home in Elbert on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 after a long struggle with COPD. A memorial service was held Monday, March 13, 2017 at Elbert School and Bill was laid to rest at the Elbert Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Maylois Fraley, by his daughter Lynette Rogers (Husband Richard Rogers) two granddaughters, Alyssa Marie Rogers and Hailey Nichole Rogers, his Mother-in-law, Charlotte Mundy, a sister Helen Stowell (Husband Arnold Stowell), two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Doak and Carol Vonfeldt and many nieces and nephews.
